The full agenda and keynote speakers for the annual Green Transportation Summit & Expo (GTSE) and West Coast Collaborative (WCC) Partners Meeting have been announced, with Margo Oge, former director of the EPA’s Of ce of Transportation and Air Quality, on tap to deliver her insights about clean transportation.
Oge will give her remarks on the rst day of the conference, which will be held at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center in Washington on April 5-7. The EPA’s WCC partnership is co-locating its annual Partners Meeting with the GTSE event.
“Margo Oge was with the EPA for more than 30 years, and she was responsible for launching major initiatives geared toward boosting air-quality goals for the transportation sector,” says Brian Trice, conference director for the GTSE and coordinator of the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition. “Her insight is more important now than ever.”
Oge is currently a distinguished fellow with non-governmental organization ClimateWorks, as well as vice chairman of the board of DeltaWing Technologies.
Joining Oge as a highlighted speaker is Stephen C. Yborra, managing director of Yborra & Associates LLC and formerly director of market development at trade association NGVAmerica. Yborra also spent 10 years with the American Gas Association.
“Yborra’s knowledge base related to natural gas vehicles is virtually peerless,” Trice adds. “He will be able to provide the historical context and give a full sense of where we are with NGVs of all classes.”
The GTSE will also cover issues related to the spectrum of alternative fuels and advanced transportation, such as propane autogas, renewable diesel, EVs and more. See the full agenda here: gtse-wcc-tacoma16-agenda.pdf
